There are three ways you can make sure your foals are eligible for Vicbred:
Vicbred Pure - your foal was concieved, foaled and notified in Victoria and was sired by a Victorian-based Australian or New Zealand born stallion. At Llowalong, that is Poster Boy, Raging Bull & Yankee Rockstar (also Soho Tribeca who is not part of the Llowalong Farms Stallion Bonus scheme). To be eligible for 2YO, 3YO & 4YO benefits, a sustaining payment must be paid.
Vicbred Platinum - your foal was conceived, foaled and notified in Victoria, and was sired by any sire (including frozen semen). At Llowalong, that is Pastor Stephen & Lather Up (also King Of The North and American Ideal who are not part of the Stallion Bonus scheme). To be eligible for 2YO, 3YO & 4YO benefits, a sustaining payment must be paid.
Vicbred Platinum - your foal was conceived, foaled and notified in Victoria, and was sired by any sire (including frozen semen). At Llowalong, that is Pastor Stephen & Lather Up (also King Of The North and American Ideal who are not part of the Stallion Bonus scheme). To be eligible for 2YO, 3YO & 4YO benefits, a sustaining payment must be paid.
Vicbred Basic - your foal was conceived in any other state except Victoria, and was sired by any Victorian-based sire and the coupon on the service certificate is lodged by the deadline with the sustaining fee/s with Harness Racing Victoria. At Llowalong, that is our entire roster but only Pastor Stephen, Poster Boy, Raging Bull, Soho Tribeca & Yankee Rockstar progency are also able to claim our Stallion Bonus.

EXAMPLE
The winner of the 2027 Vicbred Super Series 2YO Pacing Fillies final is by Yankee Rockstar. Her owner at the time not only wins the Vicbred prizemoney and trophy, but will be paid a $100,000 cash bonus by Llowalong Farms.
The winner of the 2027 Vicbred Super Series 2YO Pacing Colts final is not by any of our named sires, so no bonus will be paid out.
However the winners of the 2027 Vicbred Super Series 2YO Trotting Colts final AND Trotting Fillies Final are both by Pastor Stephen, so the owners of both the winning filly AND the winning colt will each receive a $100,000 cash bonus from Llowalong Farms.
A total of $300,000 would be paid out to winning owners.
