EQUINE REPRODUCTIVE SERVICES:

We provide all services from pregnancy and foaling down through to weaning. We can set up and serve your mare - whether it be for live cover, fresh or chilled artificial insemination (AI) as well as frozen AI. We have frozen semen storage facilities and receive deliveries for chilled semen from all over Australia and New Zealand.

When it comes to frozen AI, we can prepare mares at your property for insemination before being brought to the clinic 24 hours prior to insemination. They are then scanned at the clinic every two hours to ensure we inseminate as closely to ovulation as we can. This optimises the chances of achieving a pregnancy. Following insemination, the mare can then go home to await her 15 day pregnancy test.

Alternatively, mares can be agisted on farm to be scanned and prepared for artificial insemination and followed through to their final pregnancy test at 42 days.

EMBRYO TRANSFER:

We also perform embryo transfer. As per normal, the mare is prepared for service and inseminated either naturally or by AI (either chilled or frozen). The mare is then flushed for an embryo seven days later.
