Great start for the first Nutrien Equine Standardbred Yearling sale today, with the back end of the day bringing momentum ready for day two on Sunday.
Top Price of the day was Lot 88 CAPTAINTREACHEROUS USA X MUSICAL DELIGHT consigned by Bill and Anne Anderson from Lauriston Bloodstock. This stunning colt is heading to QLD, purchased by Shannon Price, RABOKI PTY LTD from Alberton. Not far behind was Lot 60 was sold for $95,000 for consigners Roger Bazley Syndicate also prepared by Kath McIntosh at Northern Rivers Equine. A BETTORS DELIGHT USA X MAKE MINE CULLEN bay colt purchased by Wayne Loader from Fosters Valley in NSW.
Top Filly of the day was Lot 94 SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE USA X NATIONAL GALLERY NZ sold to Joel Watson from Bacchus Marsh, VIC for $60,000. Another great result for consigners Lauriston Bloodstock with Northern Rivers Equine preparing all of the top three lots today.
